Despite a recent resurgence, with a gritty 2-1 win over Nottingham Forest, Guardiola insists he hasn't discovered any secret spells. In fact, he believes the key to their success is something far more mundane: time and hard work.
"Sometimes you need time to clear the fog," Guardiola explains. "Last season, I didn't criticize the club, but something was amiss. There was a fog around our training center, and we couldn't quite put our finger on it."

"We had some deep conversations during our summer break in America," he reveals. "We talked about what we needed to do differently, and the energy levels started to shift. We began training and competing better."
And this is the part most people miss: it's not just about winning, it's about the process and the mindset. Guardiola believes that with the right attitude, his team can compete in a way that brings results.
"We've won eight in a row, but it's not just about the wins. It's about the way we're playing and competing. We still have improvements to make, but the mindset is key."
