IMPACT is on the hunt for an exceptional Program Coordinator to join their remote team and drive meaningful change across multiple regions. This is your chance to be a part of something truly impactful!

IMPACT's Mission:
IMPACT is an independent non-profit organization with a bold vision. We aim to revolutionize how natural resources are governed in areas where security, human rights, and equality are under threat. Through our research, investigations, and strategic interventions, we develop practical solutions that enhance security, foster development, and promote equity.

The Role:
As the Program Coordinator, you'll be at the heart of IMPACT's operations, overseeing a diverse portfolio of projects and ensuring our teams on the ground have the support they need to thrive. Your role is crucial in bridging the gap between national management, project teams, and our partners, ensuring everyone is aligned with IMPACT's mission and donor expectations.

Key Responsibilities:
- Project Coordination and Quality Assurance: You'll be the central point of contact, ensuring clear communication of project goals, timelines, and deliverables. You'll support project managers in creating detailed plans, budgets, and schedules using Results-Based Management (RBM) techniques. Your proactive approach to monitoring and problem-solving will ensure our projects stay on track and deliver high-quality outcomes.
- Finance, Administration, and Human Resources: Here, you'll review and approve project expenditures, ensuring financial accountability and budget alignment. You'll collaborate with internal teams to manage contracting for project staff and consultants. Additionally, you'll conduct regular competency assessments for your direct reports and support their professional development.
- Team Support and Organisational Stewardship: Your guidance and mentorship will create positive and inclusive work environments. You'll assist teams in developing effective work plans and time management strategies. As an advocate for IMPACT's policies, you'll ensure all teams understand and adhere to our Code of Conduct and Safeguarding Policy.

Qualifications and Experience:
IMPACT is seeking a candidate with a strong background in international development program management and team leadership. Here's what we're looking for:
- An undergraduate degree in Social Sciences, Engineering, Business, Administration, or a related field
- At least 8 years of experience managing international development projects
- Minimum 5 years of experience managing diverse teams of staff and consultants
- Proven expertise in donor reporting and compliance, particularly with donors like Global Affairs Canada, the EU, UNEP, GIZ, or USAID
- Experience in monitoring and evaluation, with a preference for familiarity with Results-Based Management frameworks
- Proficiency in professional software tools like Microsoft Office Suite, Zoom, and cloud-based document systems
- Prior experience in IMPACT's focus areas, such as natural resource governance or artisanal and small-scale mining, is an advantage
- Fluency in French and English, with working proficiency in Spanish

Core Competencies:
Successful candidates will demonstrate:
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
- High levels of organization, planning, and time management
- Comfort working in diverse, intercultural teams
- Integrity, professionalism, and sound ethical judgment
- Leadership skills rooted in motivation, accountability, and trust
- Attention to detail, accuracy, and adherence to standards
