Dr. Eric Wilcots named interim chancellor of UW-Madison
MADISON, WISCONSIN—Universities of Wisconsin President Jay Rothman has appointed Dr. Eric Wilcots as interim chancellor of UW-Madison, effective May 17. This appointment comes as a result of Chancellor Jennifer Mnookin's departure to become President of Columbia University.
Dr. Wilcots, currently the dean of the College of Letters & Science, the university's largest college, brings a wealth of experience and a strong reputation to the role.
