His experience is noteworthy; during his time at Oregon from 2023 to 2025, Austin participated in 30 games, contributing not only defensively but also on special teams. Initially a 4-star recruit in the 2023 class, Austin was on Arizona's radar when they offered him a scholarship back in June 2021.
